All services are provided by Southern Health, except where shown by Partnering Health Ltd [PHL], Lymington Hospital Friends [LHF], University Hospital Southampton [UHS] or Other Named Provider.

  • Diagnostic Testing – Scheduled and Acute (Ambulance) Care, including echo, x-ray, MRI, CT
  • Elective Day Case / Short Stay Surgery [UHS] – Surgery/Discharge same day or short stay
  • Endoscopy – Internal examination, biopsy sample
  • Endocrinology – Hormonal disease treatment
  • ENT and Audiology – Scopes and general ENT, treatment
  • Forest Assessment Centre – Assess, treat and care (eg DVT, TIA, Frailty etc)
  • Frailty Support Service – Assess risks, provide advice and support, community care
  • Gastroenterology – Digestive disorders, diagnosis and treatment
  • General Medicine – Adult disease diagnosis, treatment, prevention
  • Guiding [LHF] – Signposting service helping patients, carers and visitors
  • Holter Monitor – Portable ECG monitor (eg 24/48 hour), TIA + Cardiology
  • Hospice [Oakhaven] – Care/Transfer Assessment in Hospital by Oakhaven
  • Imaging CT – Computerised tomography scanning
  • Imaging MRI – Magnetic resonance scanning
  • Imaging Ultrasound – Soft tissue and organ imaging
  • Infusions – Blood IV treatment
  • Inpatient Therapy Service – Therapy, Stroke Rehab, Discharge Planning
  • Medical Assessment Unit – Evaluate, initiate, treat patients, admissions
  • Medical Day Unit – Infusions, Venesection, Diagnostic Testing
  • Midwife service [UHS] – Pre & Post-Natal care
  • Musculo-skeletal (MSK) unit – Physiotherapy services
  • New Forest Hospital Radio [NFHR] – Entertainment and Hospital news
  • Orthopaedic Choice – MSK, Assess mobility conditions / pathway
  • Parkinsons Service – Neurological clinics, nursing and therapy
  • Pharmacy – Provision of Hospital medication and prescription

  • Podiatry (MSK) – Advice, treatment on foot disorders and care
  • Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) – Lung function testing
  • Radiology – X-ray Walk-in Clinic (Monday to Friday 9:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-4pm)
  • Respiratory – Asthma and pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Rheumatology – Joint care diagnosis and treatment
  • Stroke Rehabilitation – Cognitive speech therapy, physio, prevention
  • Supporting People to Stay Well [NHS] – Advice and Community Support to ‘Live Well’
  • Theatres [UHS] – Operative Procedures
  • Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) [PHL] – Walk-in minor injuries (Daily 8am-9pm)
  • Venesection – Blood Removal – red cells (MDU)
  • Ward: Deerleap – Stroke Rehabilitation
  • Ward: Knightwood [UHS] – Post-Op Recovery + Cancer Chemo Services (including FORCA)
  • Wards: Longbeech (1 & 2) – Acute and Rehab
  • Ward: Wilverley (1) – Acute Inpatients
